Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese cut into small chunks
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (375°F).

Prepare Puff Pastry

  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut the puff pastry into triangular sections (like you would cut a pizza).

Assemble the Wreath

  • Arrange the pastry triangles in a circle on a baking sheet, with the pointed ends facing outward, overlapping slightly to form a wreath shape.
  • Place a chunk of brie cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the brie.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cranberry sauce.

Fold and Seal

  • Fold the pointed end of each pastry triangle over the filling and tuck it under the wide end to seal, forming a wreath shape.
  • Brush the top of the wreath with the beaten egg.

Bake

  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  • Remove the wreath from the oven and let it cool slightly.
